Palafin ha due forme intercambiabili: la Forma Ingenua e la Forma Possente. È sempre nella Forma Ingenua fuori dalle lotte.
Palafin comincia le lotte nella sua Forma Ingenua. Quando è sostituito senza essere andato KO, cambia nella Forma Possente con la sua Abilità Supercambio, e rimane in quella forma fino alla fine della lotta. Le due forme hanno diverse statistiche base: la Forma Possente aumenta Attacco, Difesa, Attacco Speciale e Difesa Speciale, mantenendo invariati PS e Velocità.
