Il (giapponese: '''サクラギ{{tt|研究所|けんきゅうしょ}}''' ''SakuragiCerasa Institute'') è un laboratorio di ricerca {{OBP|Pokémon|specie}} esclusivo dell'[[anime]] situato ad [[Aranciopoli]] nella [[regione]] di [[Kanto]] che è diretto dal [[Professor SakuragiCerasa]], che lavora qui con i suoi [[Assistenti dei Professori|assistenti]] [[Kikuna]] e [[Renji]]. È anche la base operativa di {{Ash}} e {{an|Go}}[[Goh]] durante {{serie2|Pocket Monsters}}.
 
Situata nelle vicinanze c'è un'area coperta conosciuta come (giapponese: '''{{J|サクラギパーク}}''' ''SakuragiCerasa Park''). Ash e GoGoh tengono qui i loro Pokémon catturati quando non sono in missione di ricerca.
 
Il SakuragiCerasa Institute viene aperto ufficialmente come centro di ricerca Pokémon in ''[[PMS002]]''. Tuttavia, l'edificio è evidentemente vecchio ed era stato abbandonato, come rivelato in ''[[PMS016]]''. Tre anni prima, un {{AP|Gengar}}, che viene poi {{pkmn|catturati|catturato}} da Ash, infestò l'edificio dopo essere stato abbandonato dal suo [[Precedente Allenatore di Gengar|precedente Allenatore]]. Il Professor SakuragiCerasa era a conoscenza delle voci sull'infestazione quando lo comprò, ma rimase impassibile quando delidegli strani fenomeni iniziarono presto a manifestarsi. L'infestazione riprende in ''[[PMS011]]'', probabilmente a causa dell'arrivo di Ash e GoGoh.
