Ursaring viene utilizzato poi in ''[[DP081|Il Chimchar infuocato!]]'' nella lotta contro il [[Chimchar di Ash]]. Con la sua bestiale potenza, sta per sconfiggerlo, ma dopo che Chimchar perde il controllo della sua Abilità, {{a|Aiutofuoco}}, viene battuto lui stesso.

Ursaring was used against [[Brandon's Regis|Brandon's Regice]] in ''[[DP128|A Pyramiding Rage!]]''. After a clash of its {{m|Hammer Arm}} and Regice's {{m|Focus Punch}}, it attacks Ursaring with {{m|Zap Cannon}} which paralyzes it. {{FB|Pyramid King|Brandon}} then recalls Regice and sends out {{TP|Brandon|Regirock|Regis}}. Paul gives up on Ursaring and doesn't command it to attack. It then gets knocked out by Regirock's {{m|Stone Edge}}.

In ''[[DP132|Evolving Strategies!]]'' Ursaring was used in the [[Full Battle]] between Paul and Ash. With a {{m|Bulk Up}}, it easily defeated [[Ash's Buizel]] and {{AP|Staraptor}} before being recalled. During the battle with {{AP|Pikachu}}, it was paralyzed by Pikachu's {{a|Static}}. However this in turn activated its {{a|Guts}} Ability which caused Ursaring to gain extra power which ultimately led to Pikachu's defeat. Ursaring was eventually brought down by {{AP|Chimchar|Infernape}} once again.
 
Ursaring viene usato per lottare contro il [[Regis di Baldo|Regice di Baldo]] in ''[[DP128|Scontro nella Piramide Lotta!]]''. Dopo uno scontro tra il suo {{m|Martelpugno}} ed il {{m|Centripugno}} di Regice, quest'ultimo attacca Ursaring con {{m|Falcecannone}}, paralizzandolo. [[Baldo]] quindi richiama Regice e manda in campo {{TP|Baldo|Regirock|Regis}}. Paul si arrende con Ursaring e non gli ordina di attaccare: viene dunque sconfitto dal {{m|Pietrataglio}} di Regirock.

In ''[[DP132|Strategie in Evoluzione!]]'' Ursaring viene usato nella [[Lotta Totale]] tra Paul ed Ash. Con un {{m|Granfisico}} sconfigge facilmente il [[Buizel di Ash]] ed il suo {{AP|Staraptor}}, prima di venire richiamato. Durante la lotta contro {{AP|Pikachu}}, viene paralizzato dalla sua abilità, {{a|Statico}}: ciò, tuttatvia, attiva la sua abilità, {{a|Dentistretti}}, che gli fornisce ulteriore potenza, potendo così battere facilmente Pikachu. Ursaring alla fine viene sconfitto da {{AP|Chimchar|Infernape}} ancora una volta.

In ''[[DP184|Casting a Paul on Barry!]]'', Ursaring was used to fight against [[Barry's Empoleon]], but {{an|Barry}} replaced Empoleon with his {{p|Hitmonlee}}. During a very close match between the two, Ursaring was burned by Hitmonlee's {{m|Blaze Kick}}, activating Ursaring's Guts Ability again, giving Ursaring enough power to defeat Hitmonlee. It then fought against Barry's Empoleon again, but after having a {{m|Focus Blast}} fired back to it, Paul recalled it.
