'''Pokémon Tales''' è una serie di libri illustrati per bambini pubblicata dalla [[VIZ Media]] in Nord Americarmerica e dalla [[Shogakukan]] in Giappone. Alcunirlcuni artisti hanno collaborato alla sua realizzazione fornendo illustrazioni, molte delle quali sono state introdotte nel franchise Pokémon. Ogni libro contiene una storia incentrata su di un singolo Pokémon, come uno [[Squirtle]] timoroso di uscire dal suo guscio uno [[Snorlax]] affamato. Mentre la serie iniziale era composta da 48 libri, solo 23 sono stati tradotti in inglese.

Il 4 settembre 2007, Media Factory ha stampato e distribuito le storie ''[[PBD03|The Mysterious Yacht]]'', ''[[PBD04|The Mysterious Crayon]]'', ''[[PBD06|The Mysterious Big Clock]]'' e ''[[PBD07|The Mysterious Maze]]''. I libri sono in miniatura ed hanno una copertina rigida, con attaccata una catena a sfera. Non hanno un ISBN, così sono classificati come giochi piuttosto che come libri. Il Pokémon Daisuki Club ha distribuito anche dei libri stampati di ''[[PBD08|The Mysterious Drum]]'' e ''[[PBD10|The Mysterious Stockings]]'' a 200 persone nel giveaway di febbraio 2009. Presentavano anche degli sticker dei personaggi dei libri.
