{{Adv|Yellow}} ha un Caterpie di nome "Kitty" che non vuole evolvere. Tuttavia, nella lotta contro [[Lance]], {{adv|Yellow}} non ha il suo [[Pokédex]] che le serve per stoppare l'evoluzione del Pokémon, quindi Caterpie si evolve prima in Metapod e poi in Butterfree.
