Theyor refuse,to notdie with it in the lava beneath the island on their feet. Gold wantingrefuses to letbe kept on the island, as Ampharos dieneeds the medicine. Lugia then crushes the island. Gold then tells Remoraid and Croconaw to use Water Gun on their feet. TheyChris aretries surprisedto help with Wooper. Suddenly, Lugia to their surprise is lying unharmed. It is revealed that the "Lugia" didthat notwas perishbattled withinwas illusionary. Slowking reveals that the lavaplace is subterranean and that Lugia keeps the island standing. Lugia also explains that it guards the Lugiaisland wasand onlythat anit "illusion"is unwell. It then offers them anything they want. They ask Lugia to bring them to Cianwood City. They ride theThe illusionary Lugia carries them, as Lugia, Slowking, and Kamex along with some Sunflora wave. Chris wonders if they will ever return to the Whirl Islands, and Gold wants ato rematch withbattle Lugia again in the future.-->
