They are unable to cut some thixk trees and want a rubber boat belonging to Slowking. Slowking then takes them to its dwellind and asks them to take down a Kamex. Gold thinks it will challengenot Lugiatkae long. AThey then meet the Kamex and Slowking explains that it has protected "the island" for a century hasbut suddenly turned "violent". LugiaGold tells his Pikachu to use Thunder but Kamex is large. They later try a a combination of Cyndaquil, Pikachu, and Croconow's attacks, impressing Slowking. However Kamex only becomes more angry. Gold and Crystal are are forced to back off. Slowking pulls out a Silver Wing which is blown away, and Pikachu uses Thunder on Kamex at Gold's command. Kamex is eventually beaten, although Slowking's cave is ruined. Suddebly, a mysterious cretaure appears.-->
