<!--Gold and Chris arrive at Olivine City. Gold wants to go immediatly to the gym but Chris reminds him that she is an adventurer and does not wish to go. Gold is excited about defeating Morty after not having done so. They are interrupted by a young woman who after demanding to borrow Gold's Croconaw and apoligising, introduces herself as Jasmine and explains hat the Lihthouse Ampharos is unwell. Gold asks if she is a trainer and if the Ampharos belongs to her. They are interupted by Black who is battlig with his Gyarados against a Wartortle. Jasmine asks Gold if Black is his friend when Gold says Black's name, only for Black to claim he only knows strong trainers. He then leaves to furthur train Gyarados. Gold berates him for using Gyarados to battle as it cannot go across th water if injured. Jasmine asks Black to call it off, only for him to give a cold response. Gold tries to defeat Gyarados without hurting it. Jasmine says that Black is cowardly and that "a battle is not a quarrel". Black has Gyarados attack her. Jasmine defends herself with her Steelix. Black abandons Gyarados after it loses. Gold wonders if Chris got a water type, only to find her to have only Magikarp. She then suggests using them to pull a raft to cross the water.-->

* Anche se nei giochi è possibile insegnare {{m|Surf}} a [[Croconaw]] ed i Pokémon possono usarlo anche quando [[K.O.]], nel manga il [[Croconaw di Gold]] non può impararlo ed il [[Gyarados]] di Black non può usarlo quando K.O..
