A team on team {{wp|orienteering}} is held on the fifth day. The teams compete by collecting stamps from seven checkpoints set up throughout a course, then head for the goal back at the camp. Sophie and Cosette are appointed two of the checkpoints so they can keep track of which teams are reaching each checkpoint first and which ones are leading overall. In order to testify the arriving of a team, one representative and their Pokémon need to reach and mark a map with a stamp pad that are located on each checkpoint, often in places that are difficult to reach.

During the beginning of the course, Team Froakie was quickly leading and managed to get first to checkpoint number one, followed close by Team Squirtle. Both teams retained these positions until they needed to head back at the camp; however, Bonnie, Pikachu and Dedenne became lost in the forest due to a fog, so they all went looking for them. This considerably delayed them, so none of those teams earned any points at the end.

Una gara a squadre di {{wp|Orientamento (sport)|orientamento}} si tiene il quinto giorno. I team devono collezionare i timbri posti in sette luoghi diversi posizionati lungo un percorso, quindi tornare al campo. A Sophie e Cosette viene assegnato il compito di controllare due di questi punti per tenere traccia di quale squadra arriva prima. Per testimoniare il passaggio di una squadra in uno dei luoghi, un membro di essa ed il suo Pokémon deve raggiungere il tavolo con il timbro, anche se questi sono posizionati in luoghi ardui da raggiungere.
 
Durante la prima fase della corsa, il Team Froakie riesce a guadagnare facilmente il comando al checkpoint numero uno, seguito a poca distanza dal Team Squirtle. Entrambe le squadre mantengono la posizione fino a poco prima di raggiungere il campo; tuttavia, Clem, Pikachu e Dedenne finiscono per perdersi in una foresta a causa della nebbia, così gli altri devono mettersi a cercarli. In questo modo perdono posizioni, senza riuscire a guadagnare alcun punto nella competizione.
