La prima apparizione di Robert avviene nell'episodio ''[[AG035|Chi vince, chi perde]]'', nel quale è visto competing in the [[Gara Pokémon]] di [[Porto Selcepoli]]. Egli sconfigge [[Drew]] con il suo {{p|[[Milotic}}]] e vince il [[Fiocco]] della città.

{{Ash}} cerca di fermarli usando il suo {{p|[[Snorunt}}]], ma non è riuscito ad ottenere da lui che usasse il suo {{m|Geloraggio}}. Robert ha preso da parte Snorunt e gli ha detto di concentrarsi di più. Snorunt ha seguito il suo consiglio, e grazie al discorso di incoraggiamento di Robert, si è [[Evoluzione|evoluto]] in {{AP|Glalie}}.

|desc={{p|[[Milotic}}]] is Robert's main Pokémon. It was first seen in ''[[AG035|Win, Lose or Drew!]]'' where it was used in the [[Slateport City]] [[Pokémon Contest]]. It proved to be very talented as its performance was able to advance Robert to the [[Contest Battle|Battle Round]]. It later battled [[Drew]] and his {{TP|Drew|Roselia|Roserade}} where it used its {{m|Iron Tail}} attack. When Roselia sent out a {{m|Magical Leaf}}, Milotic cut through it with its {{m|Twister}}. Robert was then declared the winner of the battle and he went on to win the whole Contest.

It later appeared in ''[[AG122|Deceit and Assist]]'' where it was used in the Appeals Round of the [[Hoenn Grand Festival]]. It was seen [[AG123|again]] during the final match of the Festival battling alongside Robert's {{p|[[Claydol}}]] against [[Drew]]'s {{p|[[Flygon}}]] and {{p|[[Masquerain}}]] and winning.

It was later seen during the final match of the [[Hoenn Grand Festival]] battling alongside Robert's Milotic against [[Drew]]'s {{p|[[Flygon}}]] and {{p|[[Masquerain}}]] and winning.
