Zoroark all'improvviso collassa a causa delle ferite mortali procuratele da Kodai. Zorua prega sua mamma di svegliarsi, creando l'illusione di un bellissimo prato erboso che in realtà è la loro casa. Prova a dirle che ci torneranno assieme, ma i suoi tentativi sono inutili, così Zorua scoppia a piangere per la sua morte. Celebi, dopo essere stato guarito dalla vera Onda del Tempo, usa il campo di energia per resuscitare Zoroark, permettendo una tenera riunione tra madre e figlio. Zoroark suddenly collapses from her injuries, having been mortally wounded by Kodai. Zorua pleads for its mother to awaken, creating an illusion of a beautiful grassy field that is their home. It tries to tell Zoroark that they will go back home together, but attempts to wake her was unsuccessful, causing Zorua to cry over her death. Celebi, after being healed by the true Ripple of Time, uses the ripple's energy field to revive Zoroark, allowing a tearful reunion between mother and son. Afterwards, Zorua thanked Celebi for saving its mother before Celebi smiles and time travels after making the area's greenery bloom, disappearing out of sight. Zorua is seen saddened by Celebi's departure, but promises to be its friend forever.

Zorua is rather proud and considers itself strong, despite being a small child. This headstrong nature can get it in trouble, as it may pick fights it's ill-prepared for. It's also very playful and mischievous, often using its illusion abilities to shapeshift into others for fun and snickering when it tricks people. Despite this, Zorua's got a good heart and will go to great lengths for its friends, not backing down no matter what. Zorua admires its mother's strength greatly, wishing to one day become just as strong as she is.
