In ''[[NB040|Spighetto contro Diapo, Ash contro Georgia!]]'' Iris usa Emolga per lottare contro [[Jimmy Ray]] nel torneo del [[Club di Lotta]]. Usando le sue potenti mosse riesce a sconfiggere il suo {{p|Watchog}} e permette ad Iris di avanzare nella competizione. Nell'[[NB041|episodio successivo]], Iris usa di nuovo Emolga per lottare contro [[Stephan]] ed il sup {{TP|Stephan|Sawk}}. Nell'incontro, l'Attrazione di Emolga viene bloccata della potente {{m|Zuffa}} di Sawk, bloccando la sua personale tattica. Sawk domina la lotta finché non colpisce Emolga con {{m|Doppiocalcio}}, attivando la sua Abilità, {{a|Statico}}. Nell'attesa che Statico faccia il suo effetto su Sawk, Emolga utilizza una raffica di attacchi Attrazione, che il suo avversario blocca facilmente. Tuttavia, mentre Sawk deflette l'attacco nemico, non riesce a usare le sue mosse veloci per un secondo, fino al punto in cui viene paralizzato del tutto. Il rovescio della medaglia di {{m|Zuffa}} indebolisce drasticamente le difese di Sawk ed Emolga riesce a sconfiggerlo con un solo {{m|Invertivolt}}, mossa che non poteva usare prima visto che l'incontro consisteva in una lotta uno contro uno, ma visto che è stata usata come attacco finale, non ha violato alcuna regola.

 

In ''[[BW074|Battling the Leaf Thieves!]]'', Emolga had a training battle with [[Ash's Swadloon]]. The battle seemed particularly even until Emolga got caught in Swadloon's {{m|String Shot}}, where Iris cleverly ordered Emolga to use Discharge, sending a powerful jolt straight down Swadloon's thread and caused him a lot of damage. Eventually, Swadloon evolved into {{p|Leavanny}} and after making many leaf-hoods for the other Pokémon, he turned his attention to Emolga and Snivy. Though Emolga wasn't too pleased with the hood, she still took the chance to poke fun at an obviously embarrassed and uncomfortable Snivy. When the gang awoke from a nap and found Axew to be missing, Emolga was sent to search for him from the skies. On her search, Emolga spied a {{p|Durant}} carrying Axew into a cave and flew back to lead the gang to the cave. Emolga later joined Pikachu, Leavanny and {{AP|Scraggy}} in battling a large swarm of Durant so that they could retrieve the still sleeping Axew but the Iron Ant Pokémon continuously defended with {{m|Protect}}. Emolga used Attract to infatuate all but one Durant, which she and the others were able to defeat on its own, allowing Iris to rescue Axew.
