Emily lived on [[Mandarin Island South]] with her {{p|Nidoran♀}}, Maria. While living on the island, she had an ongoing rivalry with {{oi|Ralph}}. Both of them always competed with each other to see who had the best {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}. Somehow, they always ended up getting the same Pokémon until Emily obtained Maria and Ralph obtained his own {{p|Nidoran♂}}, Tony. Although the two humans couldn't stand each other, their Nidoran fell in love.
 
Emily vive sull'[[Isola dei Mandarini Sud]] assieme alla sua [[Nidoran♀]], Maria, ed ha una rivalità con [[Ralph (Isole Orange)|Ralph]]. Gareggiano sempre uno contro l'altra per vedere chi ha il {{OBP|Pokémon|specie}} migliore. Ogni volta finiscono per catturare lo stesso Pokémon finché Emily ottiene Maria e Ralph il suo [[Nidoran♂]], Tony. Anche se i due ragazzi non si sopportano, i loro Nidoran si innamorano.
{{an|Misty}} thought that Ralph and Emily truly loved each other deep down, so she tried to get them together. However, all she ended up doing was driving a bigger rift between them. They only decided to stop hating each other when their Nidoran were kidnapped by [[Team Rocket]]. Emily and Ralph teamed up to stop Team Rocket and get their Pokémon back.
 
{{an|Misty}} è sicura che anche Ralph ed Emily si vogliano veramente bene nel profondo, così prova a farli dichiarare. Purtroppo, tutto quello che ottiene è una divisione ancora più grande tra i due. After saving their Nidoran and seeing how much they loved each other, Ralph and Emily decided to put aside their differences and let Tony and Maria see each other. The two Nidoran, happy with their owners' decisions, kissed and promptly [[Evolution|evolved]] into {{p|Nidorino}} and {{p|Nidorina}}.
 
Dopo esserci riusciti, vedono quanto sono innamorati i due Nidoran, così i due ragazzi decidono di appianare le loro divergenze e di permettere a Tony e Maria di vedersi. I due Nidoran, contenti per la decisione dei loro Allenatori, si baciano ed immediatamente si [[Evoluzione|evolvono]] in [[Nidorino]] e [[Nidorina]].
