Il Parco Nazionale compare in ''[[EP161|Caccia ai coleotteri]]'', dove {{Ash}} e i {{ashfr}} sono arrivati giusto in tempo per partecipare ad una [[Gara Pigliamosche|Gara di Cattura di Pokémon Coleottero]]. Ash e {{an|Casey}} decidono di partecipare alla gara. L'Allenatrice [[cattura]] un [[Weedle]] che Ash stava cercando di catturare, ma quest'ultimo riesce a catturare un [[Beedrill]]. Dopo aver affrontato il {{TRT}}, dove il [[Chikorita]] di Casey s'è evoluto in [[Bayleef]], Ash viene dichiarato vincitore della gara, guadagnandosi una [[Pietrasolare]] e permettendogli di mantenere il Pokémon che aveva catturato in precedenza. Prima che il gruppo si separi da Casey, Ash decide di donarle Beedrill, conoscendo il suo amore per i Pokémon gialli a strisce.

* Questo è l'unico luogo, nella [[seconda generazione]], nel quale non è possibile ascoltare il tema della [[bici]]. In {{HGSS}} è possibile ascoltare il tema della bici; tuttavia, utilizzando il [[Lettore GB]], persiste il problema presente nei giochi di seconda generazione.
* Nelle versioni italiane di Pokémon Oro HeartGold e Argento SoulSilver, sul [[cartello]] presente nel parco c'è scritto "''Sala Tranquilla''". Questo probabilmente è un errore, dato che la Sala Tranquilla è un'area del [[Centro Commerciale di Fiordoropoli]] e che, nei giochi di seconda generazione, sullo stesso cartello c'è scritto "''Piazza Tranquilla''".
* [[Scolaro e Scolara|Scolaro]] Palmiro è l'unico Allenatore i cui Pokémon non hanno subito un aumento di livello tra seconda e [[quarta generazione]].
