Un '''Pokémon cromatico''' è un {{OBP|Pokémon|Specie}} con una colorazione differente da quella naturale della propria specie.
 
In [[Pokémon GO]], i {{f|Pokémon cromatic|o|i}} possono apparire in qualsiasi tipo di incontro: selvatici, schiudendoli dalle {{GO|Uova}}, completando {{f|ricerc|a sul campo|he sul campo}} o, vincendo [[lotte Raid]] o sconfiggendo [[Leader del Team GO Rocket]]. I Pokémon protagonisti dei [[Community Day]] hanno una maggiore probabilità di essere cromatici per la durata dell'evento. I Pokémon cromatici sono contrassegnati da tre stelline [[File:GO icona cromatico.png|20px]]. Quest'icona appare a destra dei PL di un Pokémon durante la cattura, inoltre il nome del Pokémon è scritto in giallo al momento della cattura, invece del classico bianco. La stessa icona appare in alto a sinistra del rispettivo Pokémon quando si naviga all'interno del Box Pokémon.
 
Tutti i Pokémon appaiono non cromatici mentre sono sulla mappa di gioco, si può scoprire se sono cromatici solo una volta che si prova a catturarli. Allo stesso modo, durante una lotta Raid, il boss appare non cromatico e solo durante l'evento di cattura si saprà se è cromatico. Lo stesso discorso si applica anche ai {{GO|Pokémon Ombra}} usati dai Leader del [[Team GO Rocket]], i quali appariranno non cromatici durante la lotta, ma potranno essere cromatici durante l'evento di cattura successivo alla vittoria.
