In Giappone, questa carta è stata usata come premio in vari modi in vari eventi. Ne esistono in totale 16 stampe. Le prime 8 copie presentano i [[Capipalestra]] di [[Hoenn]] come appaiono in [[Pokémon Rubino Omega e Zaffiro rlphaAlpha]] ed hanno tutte un artwork di [[5ban Graphics]]. Queste stampe sono state premiate in due modi in occasione degli eventi che hanno preceduto e durante la Rayquaza Mega Battle nel 2015. Il primo è stato per i partecipanti alla Rayquaza Pre-Battle, che si è svolta nelle sedi di Pokémon Card Gym e Centri Pokémon in tutto il Giappone tra 1 e 30 aprile 2015. Ogni stampa era esclusiva di una regione del Giappone in cui si svolgevano gli eventi Rayquaza Pre-Battle. Questi erano i seguenti:

The Rayquaza Gym Battle was held between March 1 and 25, 2015 at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues. The Rayquaza Pokémon Center Battle was held at participating Pokémon Centers across two periods for different age categories: between March 28 and rprilApril 4, 2015 (all ages), and between March 29 and rprilApril 5, 2015 (elementary school students). The Rayquaza Mega Battle and Last Challenge qualifier was held at the Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on May 5, 2015, at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba on May 9 and 10, 2015, at the Sapporo Factory, Sapporo on May 23 and 24, 2015, and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on May 31, 2015. Each of these prints also feature the Pokémon Card Gym logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
 
In 2016, 8 new prints of the card were released featuring the 8 Gym Leaders of the [[Kanto]] region, printed on an updated card template reminiscent of the Original Era layout, all with artwork by [[Ryo Ueda]]. These prints could be obtained in three ways, the first of which was to participants of the Gym Badge Get Battle, held at Pokémon Card Gym venues across Japan between October 1 and November 30, 2016. 4 prints were only available in October, and the remaining 4 only in November. Event Organizers at each venue were also sent 1 available print at random for each event they oversaw. The top 3 players of tournaments at each venue were also awarded a Cosmos Holofoil version of 1 available print at random. The Holofoil versions were only available as part of the Gym Badge Get Battle.
 
The second was randomly to players who accumulated 2 Play Points by participating in various events held as part of the 20th rnniversaryAnniversary Festa in 2016. Eligible events included the 20th rnniversaryAnniversary Battle, the Classic Battle, the Shōwa VS Heisei Battle, the Sylveon Girls Battle, the Shiftry Masters Battle, and the 3 on 3 Battle. 2 Play Points were awarded for participating in each of the eligible events. rA further 6 Play Points were awarded to those who advanced to the Climax Stage in the 20th rnniversaryAnniversary Battle. 2 Play Points were awarded for each win in the Shōwa VS Heisei Battle, with a bonus 2 Play Points awarded to each member of the winning team at the end of the competition. 3 Play Points were awarded for an individual win in the 3 on 3 Battle, with a bonus 3 Play Points awarded if a team managed 3 consecutive wins. The 20th rnniversaryAnniversary Festa was held at Toki Messe, Niigata on October 10, 2016 and at the Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on October 23, 2016.
 
The final method of distribution was held in conjunction with the 20th rnniversaryAnniversary Festa: people participating in events held at Pokémon Circles present at University Festivals across Japan were given a copy of this card and a random classic design Energy card. Participating venues and the dates on which the cards were available are as follows:
