Una volta che, dal piano terra, il giocaotre salirà la scala, egli potrà raggiunge la prima stanza. Entrando, la porta alle sue spalle si bloccherà automaticamente, in modo tale da impedirgli di tornare indietro. La porta che conduce alla seconda sala sarà inoltre bloccata e l'unico modo per riuscire ad aprirla, ed avanzare oltre, sarà quello di sconfiggere il membro dei [[Superquattro]] presente nella stanza.
Durante la [[Prima generazione|Prima]] e la [[Terza generazione]], [[Lorelei]] è al comando della prima sala, e dunque sarà anche il primo membro dei Superquattro, che deve essere sconfitto. Poichè ella utilizza Pokémon di {{tipo2|Ghiaccio}}, la sua stanza è interamente circondata da ghiaccio, ma tuttavia, questo è più somigliante all'acqua, fattore che comporterà per il giocatore la possibilità di comportarsi come su uno specchio d'acqua qualsiasi, riuscendo nell'intento di trovare Pokémon selvatici attraverso l'uso della canna da pesca. Dalla porta d'ingresso si estende un piccolo ponte che la collega all'arena di battaglia, luogo dove [[Lorelei]] attende l'inizio della lotta.
Nella [[Seconda generazione]], questa stanza non ha radicalmente cambiato aspetto per adattarsi alla tipologia di [[Pino]], nonostante il fatto che egli utilizzi Pokémon dal tipo completamente differente. Come per la grafica utilizzata per Lorelei, sono presenti due piscine d'acqua gelata ai bordi del campo di combattimento, e non mancherà inoltre lo stretto ponticello che collegherà l'ingresso con l'arena di battaglia, dove [[Pino]] attende l'inizio della lotta.
In [[Generation III]], Lorelei's room changes from the icy environment it was to a plain room with six large statues surrounding the battle arena.
