L'Adamasfera debutta in ''[[DP036|Il furto della sfera!]]'', dove il {{TRT}} viene incaricato dal [[Team Galassia]] di rubarla dal [[Museo di Evopoli]]. Il Team Rocket riesce nel furto, travestendosi da [[Nando]], ma alla fine non riesce a scappare con la sfera.
L'Adamasfera appare di nuovo in ''[[DP096|Losing Its Lustrous!]]'', dove il Team Galassia attacca un aereo della polizia mentre trasportava l'Adamasfera da [[Eterna City]] a [[Celestic Town]] e riescono a rubarla. Nell'episodio successivo, ''[[DP097|Double Team Turnover!]]'', dopo che entrambe le sfere sono state rubate dal Team Galassia, la [[Splendisfera]] e l'Adamasfera vengono mostrate connesse ad un macchinario nel [[Team Galactic HQ]].

The two orbs made a brief appearance at the end of ''[[DP150|Unlocking the Red Chain of Events!]]'', where Team Galactic was seen taking them to the [[Vetta Lancia]], along with the [[Red Chain]]s. The orbs reappeared in ''[[DP152|The Battle Finale of Legend!]]'', where Cyrus placed them and the {{an|lake guardians}} in place around the ruins at the Spear Pillar. This process allowed him to call forth Dialga and Palkia, who were immediately taken under his contol by the Red Chains. After Cyrus's attempt to create a new world had been foiled and Team Galactic had been defeated, {{Gary}} secured the orbs and decided to return them to [[Professor Carolina]].
