L'arena in cui hanno luogo le Battle Royale presenta quattro angoli di colore rosso, blu, verde e giallo ed ognuno di essi è abbinato ad un ingresso con la forma di una testa di Pokémon, rispettivamente di [[Charizard]], [[Gyarados]], [[Tyranitar]] e [[Haxorus]].

Il giocatore può iniziare una Battle Royale parlando con la terza receptionist da sinistra. Ci sono quattro livelli tra cui si può scegliere, Normale, Super, Iper e Master, con difficoltà crescente. All'inizio è accessibile solo il livello Normale; per poter partecipare nei livelli successivi bisogna arrivare primi in una lotta nel livello appena inferiore.
Ogni Allenatore incontrato durante le Battle Royale usa una squadra di tre Pokémon casuali. Più è alto il livello della sfida più i Pokémon incontrati sono forti, con l'introduzione delle [[Megaevoluzione|Megaevoluzioni]] al livello Iper.
===Restrizioni===
Come nell'[[Albero della Lotta]], tutte le Battle Royale standard usano le stesse regole:
* Tutti i Pokémon oltre il livello 50 vengono portati al livello 50, mentre tutti i Pokémon al di sotto del livello 50 rimangono al loro livello.
* Non sono ammessi più Pokémon della stessa specie.
* Non sono ammessi più Pokémon che tengono lo stesso strumento.
* Non si possono usare strumenti dallo [[Zaino]].
* Non si guadagnano [[Esperienza|Punti Esperienza]].
* I dati dei Pokémon che si incontrano non vengono inseriti nel [[Pokédex]].
* Tutti i Pokémon vengono curati alla fine di ogni lotta.
* Tutti gli strumenti persi sono recuperati alla fine di ogni lotta.
* Non sono ammessi i seguenti Pokémon o le loro forme alternative:

I [[Punti Lotta]] (PL) guadagnati al termine di ogni Battle Royale possono essere scambiati con dei premi al banco all'ingresso parlando con la prima, la seconda e la quarta addetta da sinistra. La terza addetta è l'incaricata all'accettazione delle iscrizioni.
Anche i Punti Lotta guadagnati all'[[Albero della Lotta]] possono essere scambiati.
