On One Island itself, people are buzzing about the new breakthrough about the Pokémon Net Center, which has the ability to interact with people across [[Kanto]] (and hopefully, [[Hoenn]]). The Net Center also has the same functions as a normal Pokémon Center. The person running the Net Center is Celio, a good friend and admirer of [[Bill]]'s. After the player claims the title of Champion and obtains the National Pokédex, he will request that the player retrieve the Ruby and the Sapphire to support linkage to Hoenn. In order to get the Sapphire, he gives the player a Rainbow Pass to travel to the other four Sevii Islands. The Ruby is found in [[Mt. Ember]] and the Sapphire in the [[Rocket Warehouse]]. After this, Celio will use these gems to provide trade and battle communication with the other three Hoenn-based games. He will also provide [[Fame Checker]] entries for Bill.
