Quando si compete nella gara di Classe, un Pokémon con una maggiore Classe segnerà più punti nella {{DL|Gara Pokémon|Valutazione preliminare}} in una [[Gara Pokémon]] e in un [[Saggio di moda]] in una [[Super Gara Pokémon]]. Questo può anche essere aiutato con l'uso della {{DL|Fasce|Fascia Rossa}}. Molte [[mosse]] di tipo {{t|Lotta}}, {{t|Volante}}, {{t|Elettro}} e {{t|Drago}} diventeranno mosse di Classe quando saranno usate nelle Gare, ma anche mosse di altri [[tipi]] possono essere di Classe.
