=== Pokémon: Indigo League ===
Pokémon: Indigo League è la prima serie dell'anime Pokémon secondo la numerazione occidentale, nota anche con il titolo ''Pokémon: Gotta catch 'em all!'', dal titolo della sigla di [[wp:Giorgio Vanni|Giorgio Vanni]]. In [[wp:Italia|Italia]] questa serie è stata trasmessa dall'episodio 1 all'episodio 57 (anche se alcuni episodi di questa serie sono stati [[Anime Pokémon#Episodi censurati|censurati]]) sebbene originalmente fosse composta da 83 episodi. Al termine della serie è uscito il lungometraggio ''[[Pokémon il film - Mew contro Mewtwo]]''.
Questa serie presenta [[Ash Ketchum]], ragazzino di 10 anni nato a [[Biancavilla]] (Pallet Town), che decide di diventare un maestro di Pokémon. Riceve come [[Pokémon starter|starter]] un [[Pikachu]] e viaggia nella regione di [[Kanto]], al fine di conquistare le medaglie che gli permetteranno di accedere alla [[Lega Pokémon|Lega]] dell'[[Altopiano Blu|Indigo Plateau]].
Durante la sua avventura incontrerà e catturerà molti Pokémon e farà amicizia con [[Misty]] e {{an|Brock}} che seguiranno il ragazzo nel suo viaggio.
I Pokémon presenti in questa serie sono tutti appartenenti alla [[prima generazione]], ad eccezione del [[Pokémon leggendari]]o [[Ho-Oh]], che Ash vede al termine del primo episodio, e del [[Togepi]] di Misty.
