Starting off merchandise for the [[Generation II]] [[Pokémon Trading Card Game]] was the Neo Series. This Series did not feature very much English merchandise at the time, with only booster boxes and {{TCG|Theme Deck}}s being released for the four Neo expansions: {{TCG|Neo Genesis}}, {{TCG|Neo Discovery}}, {{TCG|Neo Revelation}}, and {{TCG|Neo Discovery}}. Neo Revelation is one of two English expansions in the history of the TCG to not have Theme Decks released alongside it. Below is a chronological list of all the items released during the Neo Series of the Trading Card Game.
==Ancient Mew playmat and poster==
Released around July 2000, the Ancient Mew Playmat and Poster were a set that players could win by taking an {{TCG ID|The Power of One|Ancient Mew|promo}} insert card to a local Pokémon TCG League and showing the League runner a card with all four answers being correct.

Kingdra's Theme Deck, {{TCG|Cold Fusion}}, features {{ct|Water}} and {{ct|Lightning}} Pokémon while Jumpluff's {{TCG|Hotfoot}} Theme Deck features {{ct|Grass}} and {{ct|Fire}} Pokémon. Each Theme Deck came packaged with a metal {{TCG|coin}} as well as a rulebook, damage counters, and card list.

The two Theme Decks, made available starting June 1, 2001, feature {{p|Espeon}} and {{p|Hitmontop}} respectively. Brain Wallop, along with Espeon's {{ct|Psychic}} features {{ct|Water}} Pokémon. Wallop, on the other hand, features {{ct|Fighting}} and {{ct|Grass}} Pokémon. These Theme Decks also include a metal {{TCG|coin}}, a rulebook, damage counters, and card list.

==Neo Destiny Theme Decks==
After skipping Theme Decks for the {{TCG|Neo Revelation}} expansion, on February 28, 2002 {{TCG|Neo Discovery}} was released along with two additional decks for players and collectors to purchase. Titled {{TCG|Dark}} and {{TCG|Light}}, these Theme Decks coincide with the two central themes running through the expansion: {{TCG|Dark Pokémon}} and {{TCG|Light Pokémon}}. Dark features {{ct|Fire}} and {{ct|Psychic}} Pokémon, with {{p|Typhlosion}} on the front. Light features Azumarill's {{ct|Water}} in addition to the {{ct|Fighting}}. These Theme Decks also include a metal {{TCG|coin}}, a rulebook, damage counters, and card list.
